The Best All-Inclusive Cabo Vacation

This fall, we spent 5 wonderful nights in Cabo San Lucas. This was my husband’s destination pick, and our first time to this part of Mexico. Previously, we visited Riviera Maya, and that was over 13 years ago (when we got engaged!)

Our flight arrived at the San Jose del Cabo International airport early on a Wednesday afternoon. We breezed through the immigration/customs and found our private transfer service right outside the exit. (We highly recommend booking a private transfer for round trip service!) Our resort was 40 minutes from the San Jose del Cabo International airport.

Once we arrived at The Towers at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, we were immediately greeted and welcomed inside the lobby. Then, our butler introduced himself and took us on a brief tour before we were escorted to the VIP Lounge. Here, we were checked-in and offered a cocktail. Then, we ordered lunch while the butler confirmed our dinner reservations and golf reservation.

The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica resort has several sister properties, which guests can visit. Since we were on an all-inclusive stay in The Towers, we were able to enjoy amenities at the other properties as well as reserve a tee time for golf at the Quivira Golf Club.

After getting settled into our room, we made our way down to the pool for some time to relax and unwind.  Before we went back to get ready for dinner, we took a short walk down the beach. There was a sea turtle release getting ready to take place, so we stopped to watch the action.  This was something I had been wanting to see for years! It was amazing how those small turtles move quickly down the sand and into the ocean!

For dinner, we had reservations at Pescados, where we enjoyed sushi and Asian fusion. It was delicious!

The following day, we took the shuttle over to the Quivira Clubhouse for breakfast. It was a short, 5 minute ride. After breakfast, we purchased souvenirs at the golf pro shop, then headed back to the resort. We lounged by the pool all day — it was perfect!

There was a beach party set-up for dinner, with taco stations, and live music. We enjoyed the food and ambiance, then headed back to our room to chill on the balcony. We ordered cake from room service and enjoyed the beautiful view, while hearing the crashing waves in the distance.

The next day we started out with breakfast in the VIP Lounge, then got ready to head to the golf course!

We had made an 11am tee time at the Quivira Golf Club well in advance of our vacation.  Once we arrived at golf course, we checked in and were assisted with our golf club rentals. Then we spent some time practicing on the driving range, before being escorted to Hole #1.

Once we finished Hole #6, we arrived to the first food/drink stop on the cliff, and oh my was the view incredible!!

Later, near Hole #12, we enjoyed another food/drink stop where the chef was preparing sliders and pork tacos. Yummy!!!

The course was just breathtaking – greens sitting just right above the beautiful, blue ocean.

From crashing waves below, to an old church positioned off the cart part, and even a light house – Quivira was stunning!

As we were on the back 9, we even had a birds eye view of other resorts and another golf course!

Cabo is a golf destination and we will definitely return to try some other golf courses (though I’m not sure any will beat these views!)

After a wonderful day of golf, we hopped on the shuttle back to the resort so we could get ready for the evening.  Then, we made our way back to the Quivira Steakhouse for our dinner reservation!

On Saturday morning, we took the shuttle over to the Sunset resort and enjoyed breakfast inside The Bistro.  Then, we found the golf cart shuttle to take us up to the Sky Pool.  We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon by the pool, taking in the scenery all around. Then, we stopped at the Marketplace for some chips/guac and tacos before catching the shuttle back to our resort.

This evening, we had a late-dinner reservation at Siempre. So, we enjoyed chatting with other guests at the Peninsula bar before heading off to dinner.

On our final day in Cabo, we began with Sunday brunch inside Siempre. Then, we made our way to the beach area to relax in a beach cabana for the day!  Simply hearing the crashing waves, while lounging in the sun with not a care in the world was THE BEST! And it was the perfect end to an amazing vacation!

On our final night, we had dinner reservations for the Peninsula restaurant. We both chose seafood entrees, which were delicious!

The weather in Cabo was perfect – sunny and warm during the day, and breezy in the evenings.

We enjoyed every minute of our time in Cabo!  On departure day, we had breakfast inside the VIP Lounge, then got packed up and ready to head home. Our same private transfer service took us back to the airport, only this route was right through town so we could see many other resorts and more ocean views!
