Where are the wineries with the best view in Augusta?

Along Highway 94 in Augusta, Missouri is a number of vineyards found on Missouri’s Wine Trail.

Montelle Winery

After a scenic drive from our VRBO, my husband and I drove along Highway 94 to Montelle Winery. Being on a hilltop, we witnessed incredible views of the Ozarks from the property’s parking lot area. After admiring the amazing views, we made our way inside the large commercial winery for a tasting. Since Montelle has an expansive wine selection, one of the staff members assisted us in our tasting selections. Many guests were purchasing wine by the glass to enjoy outside on the large deck this fall afternoon.

Noboleis Vineyards

Our next stop along the wine trail was Noboleis Vineyards. We entered the property off the highway, following the curved drive with vineyards along the right and the winery straight ahead. There was quite a few visitors this afternoon, and the outside tent had a live band going. Some locals recommended their Sangria to us so we did a tasting inside. The winery had 4 different Sangria’s to try. After making our purchase, we wandered over to the large outdoor tent. Inside there were tables and chairs along with the live music. At a counter, beer and wine was for purchase. We opted for a few beers to enjoy as we listened to the band. We really enjoyed our time at Noboleis!
